Ms. Wrenshall practices in the areas of construction law and general liability litigation, including complex commercial litigation, premises liability and product liability, unfair trade practice, bad faith/unfair insurance practices, as well as in collection actions and employment matters.
Her litigation and case management experience covers trying cases, briefing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, propounding and responding to discovery, counseling clients and negotiating settlements. In the summer of 2013, she won her first defense verdict in Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas on a premise liability claim. In September of 2015, she secured a compulsory non-suit for her client in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Her success in the courtroom did not go unrecognized as she was named to the 2016 Pennsylvania Rising Star list.
Ms. Wrenshall is a 2005 graduate of the University of Virginia where she captained the varsity swim team. She qualified and competed in the 2000 and 2004 United States Olympic swimming trials. Ms. Wrenshall received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. At Pitt, she received the Dean Scholarship based on her academic merit and served as an Associate Editor on the Pittsburgh Tax Review.
Outside of her legal work, Ms. Wrenshall volunteers as the head swim coach for the Special Olympics and is a founding member of the East End Book Club. She also sits on the board of St. Anthony Charitable Foundation, an inclusive Catholic special education environment for children ages 5-21 with Down Syndrome, Autism, Aspergers and other intellectual disabilities. Ms. Wrenshall and her husband reside in the Morningside neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
