Ms. Cocciolone specializes in business litigation, concentrating primarily on energy law. She assists energy clients with a wide range of matters including early lease termination, royalty disputes, preliminary injunctions, eminent domain condemnations, contract disputes and personal injury claims.
Outside of litigation, Ms. Cocciolone has successfully represented dozens of residential and commercial property owners in appealing tax assessments in Allegheny County before both the Board of Property Appeals and Review and the Board of Viewers.
Ms. Cocciolone graduated from Washington & Jefferson College in 2009, where she was Student Government Association president, a member of Delta Gamma, and an active member of the Mock Trial Team and Pre Legal Society. Ms. Cocciolone received her J.D. from Duquesne University in 2012. During her time there, she received recognition for Outstanding Oral Argument in 2010, was a regular contributor of Juris Magazine and helped resolve custody and child support matters for pro se clients through the university’s Civil and Family Justice Clinic. She also held an externship with Chief Judge Jeffery A. Deller in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and an internship with retired Judge Gary Caruso in the Court of Common Pleas of Westmoreland County.
Admitted to the state of Pennsylvania, Ms. Cocciolone is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Allegheny County Bar Association.
