Burke Cromer Cremonese has grown its downtown practice with two new lawyers, member Jeff Roberts and associate Marissa Cocciolone.
Mr. Roberts and Ms. Cocciolone represent oil and gas companies, as well as energy business owners, in all aspects of both litigation and transactional matters in state and federal courts, arbitrations and negotiations.
Mr. Roberts has hands-on experience handling a wide range of legal matters affecting businesses, including products liability actions, contract disputes, environmental impact claims, employment law matters and personal injury matters. Mr. Roberts has recently been recognized as a 2016 BTI Client Service All-Star by the BTI Consulting Group. This distinction is awarded to only 312 attorneys nationwide who are nominated independently by corporate counsel for client service that consistently exceeds expectations. Mr. Roberts’ client, a leading energy and production company, nominated him for being exceptionally client-focused, managing cases according to the client’s specific business objectives, and for his outstanding legal skill in obtaining favorable results. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Roberts served in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps and still serves in the United States Navy Reserve.
In addition to energy law, Ms. Cocciolone has experience in litigating landlord tenant disputes and personal injury claims. She has also represented property owners in both residential and commercial tax appeals and provides legal services by handling immigration matters for individuals and businesses.
Mr. Roberts and Ms. Cocciolone further diversify the broad range of litigation and business law services offered by Burke Cromer Cremonese.
