Michael J. Cremonese Biography
Mr. Cremonese focuses his practices on construction law, professional liability and business law. His clients have included architects, engineers, and design-builders throughout all phases of the design and building, as well as real estate owners and developers and those in the energy and logistics industries.
His experience includes litigation, arbitration, and mediation. He also advises and represents his clients in contract negotiations, risk management strategies, small business structuring and restructuring matters.
He is an ex-officio Board member of the Pittsburgh chapter of the American Institute of Architects, where he frequently presents seminars related to construction law.
In addition to representing a wide spectrum of clients, Mr. Cremonese has written for The Legal Intelligencer on professional negligence, negligent misrepresentation, and managing risks. He has also presented extensively on areas such as engineering ethics, integrated project delivery, standard AIA form agreements, construction law, and ownership transitions including mergers and acquisitions.
